About Us
Dr. Deepa Awal
Deepa offers coaching that rests on the belief that people have a remarkable ability to learn, change and create new possibilities. Her goal is to encourage clients to make the best use of their expertise, understand different facets of the context, and expand the limitations imposed by narrow definitions, perceptions and beliefs.
For Deepa, the outcomes of coaching include:
- Awareness of your own strength, creativity and resourcefulness
- Enhanced ability to take action
- Enhanced ability to use your emotional and social intelligence
- Empowerment from knowing and acting on your beliefs
In addition to providing Personal Coaching, Deepa coaches executives in the context of their organizations, ranging from high potential beginning professionals to senior level leaders. She engages groups in the processes of Innovation and Teambuilding, and conducts Climate Surveys to improve the effectiveness and vitality of organizations.
Deepa's background in Indian philosophy, her professional training and education in the West, her exposure to other cultures, and her own practice of yoga and meditation lend a richness and depth to her coaching practice. Deepa's higher education includes a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from NYU Stern School of Business, Professional Certifications in coaching with ICF and Newfield Network Inc. and use of 360-degree performance reviews.
Because every human being is resourceful, creative and capable of reaching their highest potential, coaching becomes a dynamic process of revealing strengths that already exist. Deepa invites you to engage in mutually enriching conversations with her.
